Sow the seeds

The Asomugha Foundation, a 501(c)(3), was formally established in 2010 with a desire to have a positive impact on the disadvantaged youth in the United States and the underprivileged orphans and widows in Africa through education and empowerment. However, the history of the foundation can be traced to its core programming which began in 2005 serving orphans and widows in Nigeria and 2007 focusing on youth and their pursuit of higher education.

We at The Asomugha Foundation, along with our dedicated supporters, have developed priorities and principles to help address the holistic development of those less fortunate.

At the heart of The Asomugha Foundation is the belief that education is essential for success and longevity. Linked to health status and economic security, education is a springboard for innovation and growth across the globe. It is the Foundation’s mission to ensure that those with fewer means are given the opportunity to obtain a quality education, and thereby transform themselves, their families, and communities.

Seeds of love and compassion yield harvests of joy and fulfillment.
